A very good alternative to a classic lens / [[How to set up your shooting glasses for rifle shooting|shooting glasses]] is an attachment mounted to the rear sight. That way the lens is mounted directly in front of the rear sight.
The advantages are:
* the very time-consuming [[How to set up your shooting glasses for rifle shooting|set up of the shooting glasses]] is omitted
* the lens is always at the same position at the rear sight
* aiming errors caused by incorrectly set up shooting glasses or an incorrect position of the lens is almost completely impossible
* compared to classic shooting glasses the rear sight attachment is much more cheaper
